Every month, FamilySmart hosts online events for parents & caregivers who are parenting a child or youth with a mental health and/or substance use challenge called "in the know." Watch a video and share experiences and strategies that help in the hard moments and focus on strengthening our understanding and connection with our kids.

Why can it feel so tricky to tell if our kids are on track, going through a phase, as opposed to struggling with something more, or something beyond behaviours? Learn from Karen Peters, Registered Clinical Counsellor, as she talks with us about the developmental stages of children 9 to 12 years old and what might be some signs of mental health challenges at this age.

Join us and other families for this video presentation and discussion that's facilitated by a FamilySmart Family Peer Support Worker.
